NBCU rolls out FAST channels on Roku as it is placing more of its content on FAST channels. NBCU announced the new FAST linear content from it’s Global Distribution library is now available on The Roku Channel. Further channels will come later this year.
The channels now available are Murder, She Wrote, Little House on the Prairie, Universal Crime, Saved By The Bell, TNBC (Teen NBC) and Bad Girls Club.
The ones to follow as NBCU rolls out FAST channels include Universal Action and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
This is an expansion of NBCU’s existing FAST relationship with Roku, which currently includes NBC News Now, Dateline 24/7. Furthermore, there is Today All Day, LX, NBC local channels, Telemundo regional news channels, Sky News International. Additionally there is The Rotten Tomatoes Channel, as well as a broadening of NBCU Global Distribution’s relationship with Roku. This goes beyond the licensing of films, TV series, and Telemundo programming.
